Maric shown the door

City have confirmed the contract of Serbian striker Goran Maric has been terminated by mutual consent.
Maric was signed in the summer and encountered a fairly successful pre-season under Bryan Gunn, however the Serbian has made only one start in competitive action for the first team, and his departure from Carrow Road is no great surprise, with the only real question being of when and not if he would move.
City boss Paul Lambert was quick to wish Maric all the best for the future and confirmed it would be in the strikers best interests to move away from Carrow Road.
So with one of Gunn’s signings now having departed, it is surely only a matter of time before another one is shown the door.
Lambert has recently stated that he will be sitting down with Michael Theoklitos soon to discuss the goalkeepers future, but you have to feel that it wont involve staying at Carrow Road.
