Millwall’s Kenny Jacket has pipped Paul Lambert to the post for the award of Manager of the Month for October.

Whilst Lambert’s side has won four out of their five league games in October and risen from 9th to 5th in the table, Jackett took the award in League One after guiding Millwall to four wins and one draw in their five league matches.

Dave Jones of Cardiff City won the award in the Championship and John Sheridan of Chesterfield was given the League 2 accolade.
