Paul Lambert
City boss Paul Lambert has been nominated for the Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month award for October.
Lambert’s side has won four out of five league games in last month as they have risen from 9th in the table to 5th, scoring 11 and conceding only 4.
The nominations for the Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month award for October are:
Kenny Jackett – Millwall
Alan Pardew – Southampton
Paul Lambert – Norwich City
Paul Ince – Milton Keynes Dons
The winner will be announced on Saturday during Sky Sports Soccer Saturday.
Meanwhile, City skipper Grant Holt has been named in the latest League One Team of the Week.
The striker scored twice against Stockport at the weekend, and is partnerd up front alongside Southampton’s Ricky Lambert in the Team of the Week.
Holt scored 28 goals for Shrewsbury last season, and is already well on the way to match to match that figure having found the net 12 times already this season.
